Avyantrix did not begin in a corporate boardroom. It was ignited in the high-pressure environment of competitive collegiate and national hackathons. A multidisciplinary group of student engineers—uniting backgrounds in computer science, electronics, biomedical engineering, and software—came together to test their technical limits against urgent problem statements.
While most competitive teams disperse once the sprint concludes, our team realized something fundamental: the velocity, creative friction, and holistic engineering intuition developed in those crucibles could be channeled into building serious, long-term deep technology.
Our work on the WRev intelligent respiratory platform served as the catalyst for this transformation. As we moved from breadboard sensors to custom PCBs, real-time firmware, and machine learning models, the need for an enduring organizational structure became unmistakable.

Origin: Hackathon Team & Technical Crucible
Avyantrix formed as an ambitious multidisciplinary student engineering team participating in high-stakes competitive hackathons. The team quickly gained recognition for integrating hardware, software, and real-time intelligence under tight deadlines.
WRev Conceptualization & Alpha Benchmarking
Identified the critical global gap in continuous, context-aware respiratory monitoring. Built the initial WRev hardware prototypes integrating differential airflow sensing, optical SpO2, and localized particulate matter telemetry.
Incubation & Institutional Evolution
Submitted technical reports to incubation programs (including TINT BIC & Webel deep-tech frameworks) and achieved recognition across innovation forums. Began formalizing the four-pillar organisational model: Ventures, Innovation, Community, and Partnerships.
WRev Architecture & Edge Intelligence Refinement
Engineered second-generation custom PCB designs, miniaturized enclosure form factors, and developed deterministic on-device baseline drift algorithms for WRev. Structured the selective builder community network.
